They are hard-wired to your router, PoE switch, or hub via an ethernet cable. This creates a wireless local area network (WLAN), which extends the Wi-Fi signal around your home.
Moreover, the access points increase available bandwidth. Therefore, more devices can connect without interruption. You will also be able to move around your home freely, without a drop in connection. The end of your WiFi woe.

At CTR we use only top-of-the-range equipment to power your home broadband. That way, we can be confident everything will work the way you need it to. Here’s what we install to make your broadband better…
SUPERIOR QUALITY ROUTER
CTR uses the high-grade routers that give exceptional performance. These are unlike anything you’ll get from your standard broadband provider. They are in a different class altogether.
PoE SWITCH
We’ll fit a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch if necessary. This will give you additional ethernet ports. More importantly, it will power your access points. Therefore, more functional than a normal switch.
ACCESS POINTS
We’ll install access points wherever you need them around your home. Usually one per storey. CTR uses Unifi Access Points which boost your wifi signal and increase available bandwidth.

Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) is a superior all-fibre connection that can deliver download speeds of up to 1,000 mbps.
